Computer Lab Resources

All of the Computer Lab workstations run on Windows XP. We also have the Microsoft Office Suite 2003 (includes Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint & Publisher), Microsoft Internet Explorer & Corel Paint Shop Pro X.

-	Lab 1 has 15 workstations
-	Lab 2 has 10 workstations
-	An ADA workstation is available in Lab 1

Free Computer & Internet Access at VCPL!

Computers are available at all locations. Free wireless (WiFi) access is also available at all locations for those wishing to use their own laptops. Users of the Computer Labs are expected to abide by the Computer and Internet Use Policy.

Computer Lab Hours

Games, Chat Rooms (Including All Instant Messaging), & Bulletin Boards are prohibited.

-	Monday-Thursday 9 AM- 8:45 PM
-	Friday 9 AM- 5:45 PM
-	Saturday 9 AM- 4:45 PM
-	Sunday 1 PM- 4:45 PM (Labor Day- Memorial Day)

Wireless Access

Connect to the Internet with your own wireless device at all VCPL locations. You'll have access to all library resources from within the building.

Custom Guides


	Custom Guides - Click Here To Use Custom Guides online computer tutorials are now available to VCPL library card holders. Learn step by step several popular software programs such as Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Also offered are Computer Basics, QuickBooks, Windows Vista and Mac OSX Tiger. You don't just watch videos, you click and type your way through the self-directed lessons, gaining experience by doing. Call 232-1113 ext. 241 or 242 to get your free username and password.
